A lost vote

Dear Editor, This letter is to express our deep concern in regard to the recent election and how it was conducted with such fraud and disregard for the Constitutional right of the American people to choose their candidate without interference or fear of repercussion. This is the first time we have ever registered and voted, because we felt strongly about President Trump and what he has accomplished for our country, despite four years of strong opposition and the wasting of millions of dollars of taxpayer money. We know many other people who were also first-time voters. Were ...

‘Perilous times’ ahead

Dear Editor, I always thought that 20/20 vision was a term of perfection. The term is used to express normal visual acuity, which is the clarity or how sharp your vision is, measured at a distance of 20 feet. As we near the end of the year 2020, it will be remembered as far from normal as anything could be. I will always consider it the year of COVID and Corruption. I never would have believed that a party of elected leaders in our government would go so far south that lying and cheating to reach a goal would be the norm. Many in the media have sold out to the leftist Democrats ...

Counting the ways

Dear Editor: If unwell demand to be restored to the perfection from which you eminated. Perfection is the Constitution of the United States of America in conjunction with the States’ Constitutions. Said articles contaminated in process of U.S. Presidential, 2020, election, ongoing coup to overthrow a duly election of president. Said egregious acts, via a plot of long-term design, become the biggest government scandal in world history. Facts are crimes have been committed across country, supported in at least 2,000 affidavits revealing overwhelming evidence massive voter and ...

Outrage over Congress

Dear Editor, I am outraged that Washington politicians almost headed home for the holidays without passing any new COVID relief. For millions of Americans, this holiday season is looking like a nightmare. Millions of families are struggling to put food on the table this holiday season, and 12 million renters are under threat of eviction when the CDC eviction moratorium ends on Dec. 31. These renters are behind in rent an average of $5,400, causing economic hardship for them and their landlords. Some lawmakers had a bipartisan plan to provide food and rental assistance for the next ...

Thompson’s lack of honor

Dear Editor: As a Republican who voted by mail, I am hurt and angry that my own congressman would try to take away my vote. Congressman Glenn Thompson sometimes cites his Eagle Scout background. When a scout loses a patrol leader election, the scout can run again in the next election. First, however, the scout congratulates the current winner and, most importantly, does all possible to help the winner secure the campsite against coming storms. Who won is less important than keeping all the tents from blowing down. Congressman Thompson’s recently supported Texas lawsuit has ...

His own worst enemy

Dear Editor, The fault, dear Trumpus, lies not in the stars, ’tis in yourself. Stars can mean fake news, election riggers, etc. My apology to the Shakespeare Club for revising the words of William. The line, “the fault, dear Brutus is not in our stars, but in ourselves ...” is from the play, Julius Caesar. My crude interpretation of this line is: the blame game is a lame game. The Democrats have been accused of encouraging a victim mentality in various groups. President Trump is now claiming victim status regarding the election. Judges he appointed do not agree. Would Mr. ...
