Sore losing
Dear Editor,
My friends and I played enough sports in our life to fully understand and accept winning and losing. When we were very young a loss brought tears to our eyes.
A few years later a loss resulted in a sulk, and some years later it was pure anger when we lost a game. In our late teens we shook hands with the winning team.
As young adults we would shake hands and enjoy a beer with the winners.
It’s unfortunate that Donald J. Trump and too many of his supporters can’t accept the fact that he lost the presidential election, shake hands with president-elect Joe Biden instead of shedding tears, and crying all the way to the Supreme Court.
