AOC to hike The Allegheny Outdoor Club will hike the riverwalk trail in Tidioute on Sunday, Oct. 31. This will be a a flat hike of 4 miles. Military Share distribution Second Harvest Food Bank will hold a Military Share distribution at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 29, at the Penelec Building — 1500 Pennsylvania Ave. West. The Military Share program “delivers fresh, nutritious foods to families with at least one member who has served or is serving in the armed forces or National Guard,” according to a Second Harvest release. Trick-or-treating hours In Pine Grove Township, treak-or-treat hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30. Trick-or-treaters are asked to only visit homes with the porch lights on. AOC to ride The Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes on Thursday for about 10 miles on flat roads in the Frewsburg area. Church plans Saturday Harvest Dinner RUSSELL — The Akeley United Methodist Church will hold a drive-through Harvest Dinner on Saturday from 4 to 6:30 p.m. or until sold out. Trunk or Treats A Trunk or Treat will be held at First United Methodist Church, 200 Market St., on Saturday, Oct. 30, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The event will include free hotdogs and games. A Trunk or Treat is set for Oct. 23 at the Lander Fire Hall from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The event is hosted by Warren County Dairy Princess Veronica Ludwick and her court. In addition to candy the promotion team will be handing out different promotional items to promote drinking milk.

4-H club meets The Sanford Saddles and Spurs 4-H Club met on Sept. 17 at the Grand Valley Church. The club discussed the upcoming 4-H State Horse Show and other upcoming plans, including the next meeting on Oct. 10, which will be a trail ride starting at 1:30 p.m. Rabbit members who do not have horses will work on rabbit activities during the trail ride.
