Fire department hosting fall fest, market The Glade Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a fall fest and flea market on Saturday, Oct. 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Station No. 2, 885 Hatch Run Road, Warren. Watson Township to hold clean-up day Oct. 1 WATSON — Watson Township will hold a fall clean-up day for Watson Township residents and camp owners on Saturday Oct. 1, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Watson Community Building. No hazardous material, propane tanks, batteries, solvents or wood will be accepted. No televisions will be accepted, though other electronics will be accepted. The fee is $10 per vehicle load. Spaghetti fundraiser is today First Lutheran Church is hosting a drive-through spaghetti fundraiser for Free Books for Kids Town today starting at 4:30 p.m. Money raised at the event will enable free books to expand the Books for Babies-plus program at Warren General, which provides free books for all newborns and their siblings and to expand the free book programs in local public schools. Grief workshop The Schorman Center, Hospice of Warren County is offering a free, four-week grief support workshop. The sessions will be offered in both Monday morning (10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) and Monday evening sessions (6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.).
