Spaghetti fundraiser is today

First Lutheran Church is hosting a drive-through spaghetti fundraiser for Free Books for Kids Town today starting at 4:30 p.m. Money raised at the event will enable free books to expand the Books for Babies-plus program at Warren General, which provides free books for all newborns and their siblings and to expand the free book programs in local public schools. Cost for the dinner is by donation.

Connie Lucia was first with Phyllis Broadbent second at the Conewango Club on Sept. 16. Shellie Dahlie and Sherra Babcock were first Monday evening at the YMCA with Peggy Morgan and Joyce Hill in second. Marge Polito placed first and Connie Michell was second Tuesday afternoon at the Allegheny Community Center. At the Woman’s Club Thursday afternoon, Linda Jensen came in first, followed by Donna Holding in second.
