Possession. At 10:04 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, an 18-year-old male, of Youngsville, lost control of his vehicle and crashed on the side of the road. A small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia was allegedly seen in plain view inside the car. Charges are pending.

Chautauqua Co.

Narcotics. At 12:54 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, deputies of the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office stopped a vehicle at Central Avenue and Hanover Road in Silver Creek, N.Y., for an alleged traffic violation. Upon investigation, deputies said they recovered a quantity of cocaine, methamphetamine, and marijuana from the vehicle. Benjamin M. Mueller, 41, of Russell, and Alexis L. Akers, 20, of Russell, were taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, unlawful possession of marijuana, and various traffic offenses. Mueller and Akers were taken to the Chautauqua County Jail to be arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Program.
