The following pleas have been entered during arraignment and change of plea proceedings recently at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

Elizabeth A. Bergstrom, 36, to retail theft.

Shania C. Gauthier, 24, Warren, to DUI and careless driving. A count of DUI and a traffic offense were not prosecuted.

Arthur T. Johnson, III, 30, Grand Valley, to endangering the welfare of a child, fleeing or attempting to elude police, speeding, reckless driving and driving while under suspension. Charges of endangering the welfare of a child, recklessly endangering another person, flight to avoid apprehension and six traffic offenses were not prosecuted.

Todd R. Long, 34, Kane, Pa., to assault by prisoner, institutional vandalism, resisting arrest and cruelty to animals. Charges including three counts of aggravated assault, criminal mischief, two counts of recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, and four counts of disorderly conduct were not prosecuted.

Colby E. Lyle, 43, Warren, to simple assault. Charges of theft from a motor vehicle and harassment were not prosecuted.

Joshua A. Merkel, 27, Warren, to aggravated assaul tand criminal mischief. An additional count of aggravated assault was not prosecuted.

Ryan M. Morgan, 23, Clarendon, to DUI and operating a vehicle without required financial responsibility. Two traffic offenses were not prosecuted.

Joey S. Nowacki, 32, Russell, to retail theft.

Alexander S. Peterson, 32, Warren, to evading arrest, DUI and three traffic offenses. Charges of fleeing or eluding police, DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and six traffic offenses were not prosecuted.

John E. Porr, 54, Warren, to simple assault. Charges of strangulation and harassment were not prosecuted.

Bryan M. Suleski, 41, Warren, to two counts of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness. Charges including two counts of criminal attempt (burglary) and terroristic threats were not prosecuted.

The following defendants entered not guilty pleas:

Ronald J. Brown 48, Tionesta. Brown has been charged with simple assault, terroristic threats and harassment.

Dakota S. Griffin 24, Warren. Griffin has been charged with two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, three counts of sexual assault, two counts of aggravated indecent assault, three counts of unlawful contact with a minor, four counts of corruption of minors and four counts of indecent assault.

John E. Lucas, 77, Warren. Lucas has been charged with two counts of DUI and four traffic offenses.

Shontrail D. Maye, 38, Russell. Maye has been charged with strangulation, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, unlawful restraint, simple assault, false imprisonment and harassment.

Luther D. Wenzel, 26, Youngsville. Wenzel has been charged with two counts of DUI, accident involving death or personal injury, accident with damage to attended vehicle or property and seven traffic offenses.
