Preliminary hearings held Wednesday

Two guilty pleas were entered, charges were withdrawn against three individuals and one was held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

Logan S. Pierce, 26, Clarendon, to criminal mischief.

Daniel C. Taylor, Jr., 45, Warren, to possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and two traffic offenses. Charges of possession with intent to deliver and criminal use of a communications facility were withdrawn.

Charges were withdrawn against the following:

Nicholas M. Flasher, 23, Warren. Flasher had been charged with possession with intent to deliver and recklessly endangering another person.

Tanner Fox, 33, Youngsville. Fox had been charged with terroristic threats.

Camden W. Schaffer, 22, Warren. Schaffer had been charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Shontrail D. Maye, 38, Russell, was held for court. Maye has been charged with strangulation, aggravated assault, terroristic threats, simple assault, harassment, unlawful restraint and false imprisonment.
