Reality of a crisis Dear Editor, Seeing 2,977 little flags as I passed the Starbrick Cemetery, reminded me of those who died on 9/11. It actually sent a chill through me as I remembered the latest report from our southern border. If a handful of evil terrorist could pull off such a terrible crime against the U.S., what could (1,500,000) “gotaways” do? “Gotaways” are not sneaking in to share the American Dream. Biden his time Dear Editor, Once again we see the demonization of conservatives. We also see the beginning of a banana republic. When the only way to win an election is to lie and slander the opponent and take him out of the equation, we are in the throes of losing our democracy. Going back to the Clintons, many citizens remember when Hillary “cleansed” her emails and destroyed servers; I never heard of jail time for her. Still unconnected Dear Editor, I attended the second Broadband Community Event they have had in Franklin put on by the PA Broadband Authority at the end of July. It was the largest meeting they have held so far in the state. Both Venango County state Sen. Scott Hutchinson and Rep. R. Lee James attended as well as two of their county commissioners, one Commissioner Candidate, the Director of Northwest Commission, and their United Way Director. They are all working together. Missing broadband Dear Editor, Well I just returned from the third PA Broadband Authority Community Meeting. There was one in Ridgeway and Franklin in the fall, Wellsboro in June, and the most recent was in Port Allegheny. No representatives from Warren County at any of them. Today Rep. Martin Causer, McKean Commisioner, and several local township supervisors attended. They answered many questions about the Broadband Infrastructure Grant Program with the deadline Aug 9.
