Enemy No. 1?

Dear Editor,

No one is out to “get” Donald Trump. He is his own worst enemy.

Democrat or Republican, the president has to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

Should Trump be president again, so be it. The people will have spoken.

If he does win, democracy will be replaced by autocracy. That’s will of the people of the U.S. who voted for Trump.

Send money to a rich former president for his legal fees? Seriously?

He is a “god” to his followers. Will the people back him again?

Military Share success

Dear Editor,

In late June, Second Harvest Food Bank held the first Military Share at Ed Shults of Warren, Inc. of North Warren. We have been doing Military Share for years, and this was our most successful one. Ninety-six veterans and their families will eat well for several days.

I can’t thank Scott Ellsworth, Tim Reynolds and all of the other volunteers enough, for a job well done.

They work like a well-oiled machine. Also, I must note gratitude to the American Legion Post 135 for refreshments when our Military Share is complete.
