Girls wrestling

The newly-forming Warren County Girls Wrestling Club will host a “Come Try It” day from 10 a.m. to noon this Saturday at Warren Area High School.

The meet and greet/practice is open to any girl in grades K-12 interested in wrestling. It is an effort in promoting the club to one day becoming a PIAA-sanctioned varsity all-county team.

Kellie Johnson rolled a 159-473 and Ginny Barrett hit a 159-454 in the Ladies Church League at Valley Bowling Center.
