EHS Marching Band to perform at Veterans Parade in Washington, D.C.

The Eisenhower Marching Band will be traveling to Washington, D.C. to participate in the third annual Veteran’s Day Parade this November.

The Eisenhower Knights Marching Band is preparing for a major national performance this fall as they travel to Washington, D.C. to take part in the 2026 National Veterans Parade during Veterans Day weekend.

The festival, scheduled for November 7- 8, brings together high school marching bands from across the country. Participating ensembles will have the opportunity to perform a field show on the National Mall on Saturday, followed by a parade performance along Constitution Avenue on Sunday. The parade route begins near the National Archives and continues through the nation’s capital.

In addition to the parade, the festival includes a field show designed to showcase band performances on the Washington Monument grounds. Bands also receive commemorative items and professionally produced video recordings of their performances.

This year marks the third annual National Parade, and it will be the Knights’ first time attending the event. This will be the Knights’ first year participating in the event.

The National Veterans Parade is both a tribute to military service members and a showcase for high school music programs.
