Dear Editor, Recently, I have become acutely aware of the needs of those who find themselves homeless. I’m sure we don’t see them readily sleeping in parks or boxes like in the big cities. Make no mistake, there are homeless here in our city of Warren. Often they’re living in their cars. This is a travesty for sure. As I see the plans for Warren to build, in my opinion, an unneeded roundabout, and push for a downtown hotel, wouldn’t that money be better served for more worthwhile projects? It could be used for building nice, clean, affordable housing for those who need ...

‘Traitors’ did damage

Dear Editor, Enough! President Trump supporters, this is on you. If you have urged those who defiled the seat of our government, accomplishing nothing but damage and horror, this is on you. These aren’t patriots; they’re traitors. The world is appalled at what we have done to ourselves. If you have attended Trump rallies and cheered him on in his wink-wink, nudge-nudge encouragement of racism and violence, this is on you. Dear Editor, Happiness and sadness occur every year. In 2020, due to the virus, happiness was compromised and sadness deepened. About half of us are unhappy with the election. I, and others, have stated correct reasons for our concerns. Before that George Floyd was brutally murdered by former policeman Derek Chauvin. Chuavin faces trial soon and should pay dearly.
