Class to breakfast

Warren High School Class of 1947 will meet for breakfast at 11:30 a.m. at the Peppermill on Friday, April 21.

The Warren High School class of 1951 will meet for breakfast at Perkins at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, April 25.

Rummage sale

Russell VFD Auxilary Spring Rummage Sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, April 28, and 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 29, at Russell Fire Hall. Saturday is $1 a bag. Donations are being accepted from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 27.

Fashion show

The Woman’s Club of Warren’s annual fashion show and luncheon will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday. May 15.

Hats are optional, but this year’s theme, “Run For The Roses,” is inspired by the Kentucky Derby’s tradition of flowery fashion and fantastic hats. It will be hard to choose but one of the fabulous hats expected at the event will be recognized with a prize.

G G My Love of Chautauqua and Bemus Point will provide the stylish and affordable outfits and accessories that will be modeled and displayed.

Tickets are $25 and must be purchased by May 4. Go to warrenwomansclub.org for more information about the club and this event.

The Woman’s Club of Warren, 310 Market Street, is starting its 104th year of service and sorority. The annual fashion show and luncheon is open to everyone.

Parkinson support

The Warren Parkinson Disease Support Group will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, at CTI Physical Therapy, 2265 Market St, Warren.

Individuals with Parkinson Disease and their families are invited to attend. For more information, call 814-723-1165.

Garden Club trip

Warren Garden Club is planning a trip to Erie on Friday, May 26, for the purpose for visiting three garden centers, Stan’s Garden Shop, Potratz Floral Shop and Greenhouses, and Mason Farms Floral and Garden.

Lunch will be at Joe Root’s Grill. The trip is a chance to see new plants, purchase and take them home.

The cost of the bus and lunch is $45 per person. The bus will leave at 8 a.m. from the parking area beside the tall Tops gasoline sign at the end of Market Street. For more information call Margaret Sleeman (814) 723-7143.

The bus trip is open to Garden Club members and anyone in the community interested in visiting the garden centers.

Reservations are necessary.
