SALAMANCA, N.Y. – It was a big weekend for Warren County wrestlers at the Southern Tier Wrestling Officials Association Holiday Classic Tournament. Eisenhower’s Logan Jaquay, Easton Hedman, Josh Bortz and Cael Black all claimed individual titles, while the Warren Dragons finished fourth and Eisenhower fifth in the team standings. Youngsville overwhelmed DuBois Central Catholic on Saturday, turning in a dominant defensive effort on its way to a 50-26 victory. SALAMANCA, N.Y. —Fourteen Warren County wrestlers have advanced to the semifinals of the Souther Tier Wrestling Officials Association Holiday Classic Tournament in Salamanca, New York. Warren sent eight into Saturday’s action 2-0, while Eisenhower had five and Youngsville one. For the first 16 minutes of Friday’s game against visiting Maplewood, Eisenhower was able to match the Tigers intensity and drive. CAMBRIDGE SPRINGS, Pa. – Region 3 favorite Cambridge Springs used a big second quarter to pull away from Youngsville, 51-30 on Thursday.
