Despite being somewhat depleted, the Warren swimming team picked up a home sweep over Mercyhurst Thursday. The Lady Dragons topped the Lady Lakers, 95-74, while the Dragons defeated the Lakers, 60-46. Warren’s boys team swam with only five competitors, while Mercyhurst had just four. “We had some guys at district choir and some on injured reserve,” Warren coach Russ Beyer said. HARBOR CREEK, Pa. —Region road wins are always important victories, the one the Warren girls basketball team picked up at Harbor Creek Thursday was a little extra special.
