NOT real simple

Dear Editor, The Covid 19 testing is not as easy as testing your backyard pool water. Pool water test kits have been available probably 60 or more years and the chemicals and chemistry is relatively simple. If we needed MILLIONS of these kits, production would probably meet demand. A CDC Covid 19 test kit includes the following: Reverse Transcriptase, Polymerase, Flourescing Reporter Dye to name a few. You probably can’t get these ingredients at a Big Box or small Dollar store. Dear Editor, I can’t believe Dr. Fauci is putting up with Trump’s stupid thinking on COVID-19. I notice Dr. Fauci is talking in circles at times, and is not sure of himself. The front lines

Dear Editor, You’re in the front line! In this anxiety provoking pandemic times, people are sometimes complacent and think the frontline in the war against the COVID-19 is in the hospitals and emergency rooms and urgent care centers and with the doctors, nurses, health care workers and first responders. Here’s another perspective; they are the last line and you, the people in the community, are the frontline and if we don’t do the right things now, everybody loses and our health care system will be overwhelmed. Dear Editor, Socialism’s in the news as Bernie Sanders runs for president, backed by radical congresswomen Omar and Ocasio-Cortez. News items reported Bernie promising 1) No one making under $29K would pay income tax and that 2) All others would pay increased taxes. You correctly labeled Bernie’s plan “hallucinatory economics” last year. He keeps proving it. Patriotism knocking at our back door

Dear Editor, We don’t hear the word patriotism today. However, I do think it is poking its head up as we learn of people stepping forward to make surgical masks, garments and more, to assist our teams of care givers around the country. It’s shown in the folks of Warren who are doing just that and my friends and family who are practicing Social Distancing. Reading of the Warren citizens who are using their creativity to support the need for a medical supply here and beyond tells of patriotic motives that reach all levels of society. It’s heartwarming.
