Excellent leadership

Dear Editor,

Jan. 26 marked the final day of the tenure of Kim Holt as the executive director of Family Services of Warren County. She has led our agency since August 2019.

During her time with the organization, we have improved our physical facility, expanded our program offerings, and partnered with other great agencies to host community events to spread awareness that help is available for people struggling with substance abuse or mental health in our community.

She led the agency through the COVID era, continuing to provide services in a tough time for all of us. Our new Recovery Support Service program and Art Therapy in the schools have been successful, and we continue to explore new program offerings to improve our community. Family Services of Warren County has a very long history of helping people in our county and Kim’s tenure as our Executive Director has successfully extended that history.

As Board President, I’d like to thank her for her time at the agency and wish her the best in the future as she’s accepted a new position up in Chautauqua County!

Joe McClellan,

Warren

Over $500 was raised for our literacy and education programs right here in Warren County. We also would like to thank Todd and his crew at Warren Shurfine and Tops for their support.
