A Kane man is behind bars in Warren County on allegations that he agreed to sell crack cocaine and heroin to an undercover Warren County Drug Task Force officer.
David A. Wolfe, 29, was charged on Aug. 8.
Chief County Detective Tom Kibbey told the Times Observer on Tuesday the incident occurred on Aug. 7 around 10 p.m. in Sheffield Township.
“Wolfe communicated with an officer with the task force working in an undercover capacity and agreed to sell crack cocaine and heroin to the officer,” Kibbey said.
Investigators then allegedly met Wolfe, who was placed under arrest by Task Force members who were assisted by the Pennsylvania State Police after he arrived on scene.
“Wolfe was found to be in possession of approximately 11 grams of suspected fentanyl and approximately two grams of crack cocaine,” Kibbey said. “He was also found to have digital scales and other drug paraphernalia.
“(The) inspection sticker on his vehicle was also counterfeit and did not belong to the vehicle it was displayed upon.”
Wolfe was transported to the county jail and arraigned Thursday morning.
Online court records show that he was placed in jail after failing to post $50,000 bail.
Wolfe faces charges including two counts of possession with intent to deliver, criminal use of a communications facility, possession of an instrument of crime, possession/sale/use of display documents, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, illegally operating a vehicle without ignition interlock and possession of marijuana.
