Murray A. Trask

He was born on April 22, 1940, in Youngsville, PA, a son to the late Elmer and Samuella (White) Trask. Murray was a US Army Veteran that was stationed in Germany. He worked as a bartender and manager at the Youngsville American Legion, the Forest Furniture Factory and Struthers Wells throughout the years. He also volunteered his time at the Youngsville Cemetery for many years. Murray enjoyed woodworking, latch hooking, cooking, baking and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Christian Trask of Youngsville, Heike (Richard) Carlson of Erie, PA and Inge (Michael) Farr of Bunn, NC; his grandchildren, Tobin and Samantha Farr both of NC and Olivia and Erin Carlson both of Erie, PA; his great-grandson, Mason Brown; his siblings, Herbert (Jo) Trask of Wisconsin, Clara (Tim) Olsen of Warren and Phyllis (Larry) Wolfe of Pittsfield as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Murray was preceded in death by his wife, Hannelore Dorothea (Buchert) Trask; his sister, Susan Jones and his brothers, Mike and Pete Trask.

A private gathering will be held at the convenience of the family.
