Two guilty pleas were entered, charges were withdrawn against one and one was held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.

The following defendants entered guilty pleas:

¯ Joseph I. Martin, 22, Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia.

¯ Daniel J. Smiley, 47, Columbus, to possession of a controlled substance. A count of possession of a controlled substance was not prosecuted.

Charges were withdrawn against Cassandra R. Gonzales, 25, Waterford, Pa. Gonzales had been charged with two counts of simple assault and harassment. A count of harassment was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.

Jessica L. Bailey, 37, Clarendon, was held for court on charges of DUI, two counts of disregard traffic lane, careless driving and restriction on alcoholic beverages.
