Tuesday Sauerkraut Supper set

The annual Community Sauerkraut Supper — drive-through only — will be held from 5:03 to 6:47 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, at First Lutheran Church (corner of Third and East in Warren). The supper is a long-standing tradition of the church’s Men in Mission Group and Randy Britton, Krautmeister. The cabbage is hand-cut and allowed to ‘percolate’ for eight weeks, according to a church release. Supper includes sauerkraut, pork, potatoes, and cookies. The cost is a donation and all proceeds benefit the Community Care Bags ‘Christmas Cards for Cancer’ project and provide grocery and gas gift cards for patients at the Warren Canter Center.
