Tidioute Mayor Pam McLaughlin has confirmed that council is seeking a new borough police chief. This comes only three months after borough council hired Chelsea Ishman for the position. “She was a probationary employee and we parted ways,” said McLaughlin. “With the dismissal of Officer Ishman, Tidioute Police Department is looking to fill a vacancy.” Ishman was hired in September, less than a year after graduating from the police academy at Mercyhurst University.
