Efforts continue to demolish a Tidioute property ravaged by fire in 2016. The property at 3 Economy St. is in the hands of the Warren County Redevelopment Authority. Warren County officials took steps on Thursday that will hopefully lead to a better neighborhood and some homeless rodents in Limestone Township. Members of the Warren County Blighted Property Review Committee unanimously approved a motion to bring a property identified as a public nuisance, dilapidated, unsafe and vermin-infested before the county planning commission. State police at the Warren barracks are seeking information about an incident some might consider barbaric. Police report that as four people were leaving the Tidioute Trading Post at about 11 a.m. on Jan. 5, they attempted to take a wood-carved bear from the front of the bar.
