Photos submitted to Times Observer TCCS students in grades 4th and 6th created Japanese Koinorobi (carp streamers). Japan celebrates Koinorobi in May, for children’s day, but students thought the carp streamer kites would be a great sculpture to display before the fishing tournament.
Photos submitted to Times Observer September 21st was International Peace Day — a day of nonviolence, a day of kindness. In honor of the day, TCCS students created pinwheels for peace.
Photos submitted to Times Observer The Tidioute Community Charter School PTO held a work day on Saturday, Sept. 15, and painted the blacktop on the playground. They added three 4-square boards, two hopscotch boards, two kickball fields, inspiring words and emojis in bright colors to decorate the surface for the students.
