Volleyball Clinic

Head Volleyball coach Melissa Lemay recently held a volleyball clinic for kids in grades K through 6th Grade. The kids were taught the fundamental skills of passing, setting, hitting, and serving. They attended sessions from 10 a.m. to noon for four consecutive weeks. This event will be happening again in the fall.

National Train Day

Saturday

This is the third year for this event at Sheffield Depot, held rain or shine. It will open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 12. Donna Capello will have some train items for sale.There wil be hot dogs, sloppy joes, chips, cupcakes and drinks (hot and cold) for sale; also a raffle of a child’s train set. There is a meeting every second Thursday at 7 p.m. Meetings are held at the Depot during the summer month and the Hospitality Center during the winter months.

Sheffield Township

The pile of sanbar material at the corner of Tan Street and Center Street is free to the taking. Help yourself to this pile that was removed from under the bridge by the Allegheny Pit Stop. The township would like to remind all citizens to lock their cars when they aren’t in use.
