Sentences handed down in county court

The following sentences were handed down by President Judge Maureen Skerda on Friday at the Warren County Courthouse. Jacob J. Disshon, 19, Sheffield, to six months probation including 72 hours incarceration, $1,425 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact programs, a 12 month license suspension and 15 hours of community service on a count of DUI as well as $245 on a count of careless driving. Man facing charges for high-speed chase

A Kane man faces charges in Warren County after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase in eastern Warren County. Matthew L. Simonds, 41, of Kane, is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude officer, DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, and numerous summary driving violations. According to the affidavit of probable cause, at about 1:30 a.m. Friday, Simonds was driving a black SUV east on Route 6 near the Glade Bridge in Mead Township. N. Warren County — District Judge Laura Bauer Scott F. Wynn, 47, Jamestown, NY, was charged by Conewango Township police on May 16 with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from an incident that occurred on May 12 in Conewango Twp. Eldred Twp. Criminal mischief. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a report at 2642 Eldred Center Road on May 17 at 5:22 p.m. A rock was thrown through the window of a residence causing an estimated $300 in damage. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to contact state police.

Two cases handled at preliminary hearings

One guilty plea was entered and charges were withdrawn against one during preliminary hearings held on Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse. Joshua L. Reynolds, 28, Warren, pleaded guilty to charges of criminal trespass and theft by unlawful taking. A count of theft by unlawful taking was withdrawn. Charges were withdrawn against Joshawa M. Rogers, 37, Warren. Rogers had been charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
