Sentences handed down in county court

President Judge Maureen Skerda handed down the following sentences last Friday at the Warren County Courthouse.
¯ Jeramy S. Card, 21, Sugar Grove, six months probation, two days incarceration with credit for one day time served, $925 in fines and fees, a 12 month license suspension, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs and 15 hours of community service on a count of DUI as well as $245 on a count of reckless driving and $70 for operating a vehicle without valid inspection.
¯ Paul F. Hellman, 57, Corry, Pa., to six months probation, two days incarceration with credit for two days time served, 24 hours of house arrest, $1,550 in fines and fees, a 12 month license suspension, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with recommendations and 15 hours of community service on a count of DUI; Two years probation and submission of a DNA sample with a $250 fee on a count of fleeing or attempting to elude officer and $70 on charges of careless driving and driving on roadways laned for traffic.
¯ Daniel E. Hernandez, 39, Lakewood, NY, to two years probation, $1,025 in fines and fees, submission of a DNA sample, parenting classes, 30 hours of community service and participation in the COG program on a count of endangering the welfare of a child.
¯ Aaron S. Knepp, to six to 12 months incarceration in state prison with credit for 180 days time served and $450 in fines and fees on a count of false identification to law enforcement as well as six to 12 months incarceration with credit for 81 days time served, a $100 fee and to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with recommendations on a count of possession of drug paraphernalia. Skerda also made him eligible for several state programs. At a second docket, he was sentenced to eight to 24 months incarceration on a coin tof resisting arrest.
¯ Shaylynn M. Nudd, 20, Sheffield, to $525 in fines and fees, $998.99 in restitution, a no contact/no trespass order as well as to make no social media posts about the victim on a count of criminal solicitation — harassment.
¯ Matthew J. Porter, 31, Warren, to 27 to 54 months incarceration with credit for 206 days time served, $1,725 in fines and fees, to submit a DNA sample, $200 in restitution and priority for drug treatment as well as eligibility for programs in state prison on a count of possession with intent to deliver. On a count of criminal use of a communications facility, he was sentenced to 30 to 60 months incarceration.
¯ Devin W. Powell, 30, Sugar Grove, to charges at a total of six dockets. The penalties include six months probation, 72 hours incarceration with credit for 72 hours time served, $1,550 in fines and fees, a 12 month license suspension, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, 15 hours of community service and drug and alcohol treatment for a first-offense DUI; $70 for careless driving; $205 for driving an unregistered vehicle; $1,000 in fines and fees, six to 12 months incarceration and drug and alcohol treatment on a count of possession of a controlled substance; 18 to 36 months incarceration, $2,000 in fines and fees, submission of a DNA sample, an 18 months license suspension, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs and drug and alcohol treatment for a second-offense DUI; 21 to 42 months incarceration, $3,275 in fines and fees, an 18 month license suspension, drug and alcohol treatment on a third-offense DUI; $70 on a rear lighting violation; $245 and a 12 month license suspension for driving while under suspension; 18 to 36 months incarceration, $1,825 in fines and fees and restitution on a count of fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer; 30 to 60 months incarceration on a count of aggravated assault; $245 and a 12 month license suspension on a count of driving while under suspension; $170 on a speeding violation; $70 on a stop sign violation and $725 in fines and fees and six to 12 months incarceration a count of possession of a controlled substance.
¯ Joshawa M. Rogers, 37, Warren, to two months to one year incarceration and $825 in fines and fees on a count of accident with damage to attended vehicle as well as $70 each on charges of failure to stop at red signal and careless driving. At a second docket, Rogers was sentenced to two years probation, $1,775 in fines and fees and to have no contact with children on a count of recklessly endangering another person as well as 16 to 32 months incarceration with credit for 188 days time served on account of person not to possess a firearm.
¯ Brian W. Smith, 45, Clarendon, to six to 12 months incarceration with credit for 78 days served, $1,025 in fines and fees, work release and early reentry eligibility, outpatient drug and alcohol treatment, 50 hours of community service and participation in the COG program on a count of possession of a controlled substance and three months to 11 months incarceration on a count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
¯ Bridget A. Stec, 57, Youngsville, to six months probation, $450 in fines and fees and participation in the COG program on a count of defiant trespass.
