Sentences handed down in county court

Card, 21, Sugar Grove, six months probation, two days incarceration with credit for one day time served, $925 in fines and fees, a 12 month license suspension, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs and 15 hours of community service on a count of DUI as well as $245 on a count of reckless driving and $70 for operating a vehicle without valid inspection. ¯ Paul F. Jamestown man indicted in two fentanyl deaths

BUFFALO — A Jamestown man has been indicted by a federal grand jury for selling fentanyl that led to two deaths. U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross announced Steven Mojica Medina, 34, has been charged with distribution of heroin, fentanyl and acetyl fentanyl causing death, narcotics conspiracy, possession with intent to distribute heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, and crack cocaine, using and maintaining a drug-involved premises, possession of firearms in furtherance of drug trafficking crimes, and being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition. A Warren woman is charged with aggravated assault after allegedly striking another woman with a metal bat. Marcella K. Gigliotti, 55, of Warren, is charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, and harassment. According to the affidavit of probable cause, the alleged victim told police she had been walking around late Wednesday, looking for her ex-boyfriend’s vehicle. Pittsfield man charged in alleged assault of child

A Pittsfield man has been charged with sexual assault of a young girl. James R. Owen, 21, of Barton Run Road, is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with child and aggravated indecent assault of child. The charges relate to an alleged incident from between 2013 and 2015 involving a girl who was between 4 and 6 years old.
