Dead animals found in container left in yard

Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police are seeking information about a container left in the yard of an East Fifth Avenue residence containing the remains of two dead animals. Troopers responded to the home Saturday shortly after 5 p.m. after the “homeowner reported a suspicious container that was left in his yard,” the State Police said in a news release. “The container was discovered to contain a deceased medium-sized mixed-breed dog wrapped in blankets,” police say. “A deceased orange and white kitten was also found inside the container.” Troopers say the investigation ...

A Warren woman is in Warren County Jail after she allegedly choked a man then spit in the face of an officer who pulled her over while she was reportedly driving under the influence. Valerie A.
