Mead Twp. Crash. Warren-based Pennsylvania State Police responded to a one-vehicle accident on Morrison Run Road on July 30 at 5:46 p.m. Troopers say a 2006 Jeep Liberty was traveling west on Morrison Run Road at a high rate of speed and lost traction on the gravel road, swerving back and forth. The vehicle left the road, returned and then left again, striking a ditch and rolling onto its roof before landing upright. The driver, a 17-year-old male of Sheffield, was not injured. One defendant pleaded guilty while one was held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse. Robert T. Sanders, 39, Kane, Pa., pleaded guilty to a count of possession of a controlled substance. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn. Brenda D. Carroll. 44, Warren, was held for court on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault and harassment.
