A Youngsville man will stay in the county jail as a result of a sentence handed down Friday. Nicholas J. Barnes, 29, was sentenced to eight to 23 months on charges of obstructing the administration law and disorderly conduct. The obstruction charge stems from him slamming a door into a police officer, causing injuries to the officer. Police say they arrived at the 100 block of Mead Run Road in Brokenstraw Township before 6 p.m. Saturday and discovered the girl had been inebriated and in possession of alcohol while at an event at the Warren County Christian School.
