Sentence handed down in ‘unusual’ indecent assault case

An unusual criminal case has resulted in a time-served sentence handed down on an indecent assault charge. Breydan C. Olander, 20 , Corry, was before Judge Gregory Hammond on Friday. Hammond explained the procedural complexities at play here, noting that Olander was 16 when the alleged conduct occurred - and under 21 when he was convicted. The victim was 8-years-old at the time of the offense.
