Sentence handed down in ‘unusual’ indecent assault case

An unusual criminal case has resulted in a time-served sentence handed down on an indecent assault charge. Breydan C. Olander, 20 , Corry, was before Judge Gregory Hammond on Friday. Hammond explained the procedural complexities at play here, noting that Olander was 16 when the alleged conduct occurred - and under 21 when he was convicted. Three guilty pleas were entered, charges were withdrawn against one and three were held for court during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse.
