Charges were withdrawn against two defendants during preliminary hearings held Tuesday at the Warren County Courthouse. Charges were withdrawn against the following defendants: Kim M. Cataldo, 60, Youngsville. Cataldo had been charged with retail theft. Two counts of retail theft were re-categorized as non-traffic offenses. David L. Matteson, 40, Warren. Matteson had been charged with retail theft. Two counts of retail theft were re-categorized as non-traffic offenses.

The following sentences were handed down by President Judge Maureen Skerda Friday during sentence court proceedings at the Warren County Courthouse. Holly E. Preliminary hearings held Wednesday

One guilty plea was entered while charges were withdrawn against another defendant during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse. Thomas B. Barton, Jr., 55, Warren, pleaded guilty to criminal mischief. A count of defiant trespass was withdrawn. Charges were withdrawn against Jedediah J. Turton, 44, Warren. Turton has been charged with four counts of theft, two counts of receiving stolen property and two counts of bad checks. A count of disorderly conduct was re-categorized as a non-traffic offense.
