Cases resolved at preliminary hearings

Four guilty pleas were entered Wednesday while charges were withdrawn against one during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse. The following defendants entered guilty pleas: Ashley L. Good, 31, Warren, to possession of drug paraphernalia. Charges of possession of a controlled substance and public drunkenness were not prosecuted. Justin M. Johnson, 33, Warren, to theft by unlawful taking. Nathan C. Pleas entered in Warren County court

Two guilty pleas were entered during change of plea proceedings Thursday at the Warren County Courthouse. Corbin Kates, 22, Jamestown, NY, pleaded guilty to charges of false identification to law enforcement, disorderly conduct, DUI and driving on a suspended license. Charges of obstructing the administration of law and resisting arrest were not prosecuted. Brandon R. Philbrick, 30, Warren, to burglary. Charges of theft, criminal trespass and receiving stolen property were not prosecuted.

Pleas entered during preliminary hearings at Warren County Courthouse

One guilty plea was entered while charges were withdrawn against another during preliminary hearings held Wednesday at the Warren County Courthouse. David D. Schoch, 29, North Olmsted, Ohio, pleaded guilty to possession of marijuana. A count of possession of drug paraphernalia was withdrawn. Charges were withdrawn against Richard J. Porter, 62, Ridgway, Pa. Porter had been charged with two counts of DUI. Three traffic violations were re-categorized as non-traffic offenses.
