Sentences handed down in county court
The following sentences were handed down by President Judge Maureen Skerda Friday during sentence court proceedings at the Warren County Courthouse.
Holly E. Antal, Washington, D.C., to one year probation, $1,496.16 in restitution, $375 in fines and fees, a no contact/no trespass order, a mental health evaluation and compliance with recommendations and 30 hours of community service on a count of criminal mischief as well as $350 and 30 hours of community service for possession of drug paraphernalia; one year probation, $2,168.90 in restitution, $250 in fees and submission of a DNA sample on a count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle; 134 days to two years less one day incarceration, one year probation, $1,025 in fines and fees and 60 hours of community service on a count of theft.
Paul R. Briggs, 40, Ashville, NY, to 18 to 45 months incarceration in state prison, $5,800 in restitution, $1,425 in fines and fees, credit for 93 days time served, submission of a DNA sample and priority for treatment in the state system on a count of theft by unlawful taking as well as three to six months for criminal mischief and $245 and a 12 month license suspension for driving on a suspended license.
Garrett A. Frederoski, 29, Saint Marys, Pa., to a six month sentence including five days incarceration and the duration on probation, fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, a 12 month license suspension and 30 hours of community service on a count of DUI as well as $70 for careless driving.
Christine Fulmer, 20, Warren, to a two year sentence including 10 days incarceration, 80 days house arrest and the duration on probation, $1,025 in fines and fees, credit for 10 days time served, submission of a DNA sample and compliance with treatment on a count of aggravated assault.
Timothy S. Gorton, 48, Clarendon, to a six month sentence including 72 hours incarceration, $1,800 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, a 12 month license suspension, 45 hours of community service, work release and credit for one day time served as well as $70 for driving on roadways laned for traffic and one year probation for disorderly conduct.
Jordin S.L. Grove, 23, West Hickory, Pa., to eight months to 16 months incarceration, one year probation, approximately $2,000 in fines and fees, a 12 month license suspension, 30 hours of community service, credit for one day time served, submission of a DNA sample and participation in the COG program on a count of fleeing and eluding; a six month sentence including 48 hours incarceration, $925 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs, a 12 month license suspension, work release and 15 hours of community service on a count of DUI as well as $70 each on charges of driving at safe speed and careless driving.
Jordan J.L. Klein, 23, Jamestown, NY, to six to 12 months incarceration with credit for 196 days time served and immediate parole, one year probation, $1,525 in fines and fees, 70 hours of community service, submission of a DNA sample and mental health treatment on a count of terroristic threats.
David L. Matteson, Jr., 40, Warren, to 44 days to two years less one day incarceration with credit for 44 days time served, $870 in fines and fees, to undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with recommendations, a 12 month license suspension, 50 hours of community service and participation in the COG program as well as a 12 month license suspension on driving while under suspension.
Bruce A. Messenheimer, 32, Warren, to 11.5 months to two years less one day incarceration, $1,075 in fines and fees, a no contact/no trespass order, work release and early entry eligibility, submission of a DNA sample, health relationships training and evaluations for anger management, drug and alcohol and mental health on a count of simple assault.
Kevin D. Polley, 40, Warren, to a six month sentence including 48 hours incarceration, $1,275 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school and victim impact panel programs and 45 hours of community service on a count of DUI as well as $70 for careless driving.
Shelby Tuszynski, 42, Sheffield, to 25 to 60 months incarceration, $3,275 in fines and fees, participation in the alcohol highway safety school, an 18 month license suspension, credit for 312 days time served and priority for drug treatment in the state prison system on a count of DUI as well as $70 for careless driving.
A bench warrant was issued for Blaydon F. Niles, 32, Falconer, NY, for failure to appear. Niles was to be sentenced on a count of retail theft.
