Bad Checks. Warren-based state police report a suspect wrote a check to Johnson’s Tire Service in Clarendon on April 15 that was returned for insufficient funds. The suspect paid the balance and prosecution was declined by the victim.

Pittsfield Twp.

Theft by unlawful taking. Warren-based state police report on April 27, at 10:55 a.m., a suspect filled a blue Ford Ranger with $55.02 in gasoline at pump #2. He went inside and purchased other items but failed to pay for the gasoline. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police at 814-728-3600.

Youngsville

DUI. Youngsville Police report on April 24 at approx. 9:00 p.m., Edward Black of Pittsfield was arrested for driving under the influence. Black was stopped after police observed him committing multiple traffic offenses. After further investigation, the police found Black to be highly intoxicated. Charges of DUI (highest rate) and several summary charges are being filed with District Judge Lindemuth’s office.

Disorderly Conduct. Youngsville Police were called to Youngsville High School on April 24 for a disruptive female student. Upon arrival, police were met by an administrator that stated he was threatened by a student and that student was being disruptive in class. Police have filed harassment and disorderly conduct charges against the student through District Judge Lindemuth’s office.

DUI and Weapons on School Property. Youngsville Police were called to Youngsville Elementary Middle School on April 9 at approx. 1:00 p.m. for a reported intoxicated female on the property. While in the school, Yvonne Ames, 34, of Youngsville was found to be in possession of a bottle of liquor, a knife, and small cutting blades. Ames was arrested for DUI and Possession of a weapon on school property. Charges of DUI of alcohol and controlled substances, weapons’ possession and several summary charges are being filed with District Judge Lindemuth’s office.

Warren

False reports. City of Warren police reported that on April 9, Barbara Roberts, 46, Warren, was charges with false reports following an investigation where Roberts reported to police that her debit card had been stolen and had been used once at an ATM to empty the account. Roberts implicated another person in the theft but officers were able to obtain video footage of the ATM transaction that showed Roberts had taken the money.

Underage drinking. City of Warren police reported that on April 14, James Highhouse, 18, Christina McMillen, 20, and Tyler Whitney, 20, all of Warren, were cited for underage drinking after officers were called to investigate a noise complaint and found them to be under the influence of alcoholic beverages.

Possession. City of Warren police reported that on April 18, Lehulani Rounds, 31, Warren, was charged with theft by unlawful taking and possession of a controlled substance after her employer reported a theft had occurred at the place of business. Rounds was observed going though another employee’s purse and removing medications. Rounds was arraigned before District Justice Glenn Carlson and released on $50,000 unsecured bond.

Retail theft. City of Warren police reported that on April 9, a juvenile male was cited for retail theft after police were dispatched to a convenience store for the theft of a drink totaling $2.19. He was released to the custody of this father.

Retail theft. City of Warren police reported that on April 11, Sarah Munch, 19, Warren, was cited for retail theft after a report from a convenience store that Much was allegedly caught on video consuming two caramels totaling $0.66 and did not pay for them.

Crash. City of Warren police reported that on April 13, Gerry McIntyre, 55, Clarendon, was cited for careless driving following a traffic accident after she struck a legally parked vehicle on Crescent Park, causing it to jump the curb and travel 39 feet from its original location. No injuries were reported and both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

Crash. City of Warren police reported that on April 13, Traci Suleski, 28, Warren, was cited for accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle, false reports, limitations on backing and drivers required to be licensed after a hit and run accident was reported to have occurred in the parking lot of a local establishment. Officers retrieved video from the business that shows Suleski striking the victim’s vehicle and leaving the scene.

Possession. City of Warren police reported that on April 18, Kris Spencer, 26, Warren, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, defiant trespass, disorderly conduct, criminal mischief and public drunkenness after officers were dispatched to an industrial business where it was reported that a man entered the building where he fell asleep on a couch located in the lobby. Spencer was uncooperative with officers and hospital staff and placed in the Warren County jail. He was later arraigned and paid $2,500 cash bail.

Sugar Grove

DUI. Warren-based state police report a two-vehicle crash resulting in DUI charges which occurred at approximately 10:30 a.m. on Apr. 12 in the area of 113 Race St. in Sugar Grove. According to police, David K. Brown, 59, Russell, was traveling east on race street when Lucas Jacob Baines Wolfgang, 24, Jamestown, NY, turned out of a driveway and attempted to turn west onto Race St., pulling directly into the path of Brown. Wolfgang’s vehicle struck the driver’s side door of the Brown vehicle, trapping Brown inside the vehicle.

Brown was freed from the vehicle and transported to Women’s Christian Association Hospital in Jamestown. Wolfgang suffered no injuries.

Upon further investigation, Wolfgang was found to be under the influence of alcohol at the time of crash. Two counts of DUI and additional summary charges have been filed with District Judge Laura Bauer’s office.

Youngsville

DUI. On April 18, at 10:20 p.m., Warren-based state police stopped Kevin VanHouten, 45 of Pittsfield on East Main St. in Youngsville after he was observed committing several traffic violations. He was found to be intoxicated and subsequently arrested for DUI.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Theft by Unlawful Taking. Warren-based state police were called to a residence on Indian Camp Rd. for a reported theft that occurred between 3:00 p.m. on March 23 and midnight March 24. According to police, a silver, heart shaped ring with a diamond in the center had been stolen. The ring was valued at $600 and the investigation continues.

Conewango Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police report a DUI crash which occurred at approximately 3:42 a.m. on Apr. 21 on Jackson Run Rd., approximately 1.4 miles west of Market Street. According to police, Makia N. Haines, 24, Warren, was operating a 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix traveling east on Jackson Run Rd. when the vehicle left the south edge of the roadway as she came out of a left curve, striking a mailbox and a fence. The vehicle then overturned before coming to rest on its tires, next to a house, facing south.

Haines was transported to Warren General Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. The Haines vehicle was towed from the scene by Rarey Towing. The North Warren Volunteer Fire Department and Emergycare assisted at the scene.

Charges of DUI and other traffic violation were filed with District Judge Laura Bauer’s office.

Harassment. Warren-based state police were called to the Warren State Hospital on April 24 at 4:35 a.m. after Justina Robinson, 31 of Warren, punched Kimberly Kraft, 40 of Warren, in the stomach. A charge of harassment was filed with the District Court.

Harassment. Warren-based state police were called to the Warren State Hospital on April 25 at 3:00 p.m. after a 23 year-old female from Warren, punched a 40 year-old female from Warren, in the face causing a red mark on the victim’s cheek. A charge of harassment was filed with the District Court.

Flight to avoid apprehension. Warren-based state police report an incident of arrest prior to requisition/flight to avoid apprehension which occurred on Apr. 24, on Rt. 6. According to police, Thomas E. Thompson, 28, Silsbee, TX, appeared at the state police barracks for fingerprinting for employment. Thompson was determined to have a felony warrant in the state of Louisiana with extradition authorized.

Thompson was taken into custody and taken before District Judge Laura Bauer. Bail was set at $50,000 and Thompson was remanded to the Warren County Jail.

Limestone Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police report investigating a DUI which occurred on Apr. 27 at approximately 11;12 p.m. on state route 2 approximately two miles north of Tidioute. According to police, a 2007 Ford pickup truck operated byScott A. Zinger, 31, Warren, was traveling north on route 2 and was stopped for committing several traffic violations. Zinger was subsequently arrested for DUI.

Triumph Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report investigating an incident of criminal mischief which occurred between Apr. 1 and Apr. 26 in the area of Gorma Road. According to police, unknown actor(s) tore down and vandalized a metal ladder stand, belonging to a 51 year-old male of Erie, breaking the ratchet straps and bending it. Damage is estimated to be approximately $200. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact police or Warren County Crimestoppers.

Southwest Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report investigating a crash which occurred at approximately 4:56 p.m. on Apr. 25 in front of a residence at 17023 Enterprise Road. According to police, a 2012 Mitsubishi Lancer operated by Albert J. Ross, 28, Warren, was traveling east on Enterprise Rd. just east of Hunter School Road. A 2005 Toyota 4Runner operated by Jaclyn N. Steffee, 18, Titusville, pulled out of the driveway of a residence at 17023 Enterprise Road and attempted to turn left to head west. The Toyota entered the highway directly into the path of the Mitsubishi. The Ross vehicle struck the Steffee vehicle on the passenger side rear door. Upon impact, the toyota continued east, turning approximately 90 degrees and facing south before Steffee was able to straighten out the vehicle before coming to rest along the eastbound shoulder of the roadway. Steffee was able to move the vehicle approximately 400 feet from the point of impact. Ross was able to move the Mitsubishi into a residential driveway.

The Albert vehicle was towed from the scene by Thompson’s Garage. Grand Valley Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Theft by Unlawful Taking. Warren-based state police filed criminal arrest warrants for Jerry Brown, 45 of Titusville and Barry Evans, 26 of Oil City with District Magistrate Lindemuth. According to police, the accused trespassed and removed scrap metal from a Pleasantville residence on March 1.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police report investigating a theft which occurred between Apr. 18 and 25 on Paige Hollow Road. According to police, unknown actor(s) entered the property of Donald Paul Little, 75, at 5125 Paige Hollow Road and removed a red 4×8 utility trailer. Warren

Disorderly conduct. City of Warren police reported that on April 22, Joseph Hensley, 18, Warren, was cited for disorderly conduct after he created a disturbance by revving his truck in a residential area at 2 a.m. without a muffler on the truck.

Disorderly conduct. City of Warren police reported that on April 13, Eric Gustafson, 25, Warren, was cited for disorderly conduct after he caused a disturbance at a local establishment where he became upset with the bartender who was refusing to serve him.

Harassment. City of Warren police reported that on April 28, Tiffany Clayton, 24, and Christopher Shaffer, 28, both of Warren, were both cited for harassment when officers were called to their residence for a domestic dispute.

Harassment. City of Warren police reported that on April 14, Traci Suleski, 28, and William Cook, 33, both of Warren, were both cited for harassment after officers were called to their residence for a domestic dispute.

Simple assault. City of Warren police reported that on April 12, Joseph Mott, 46, and Dustin Sullivan, 25, both of Warren, were both charged with simple assault and harassment after police were called to their residence for a reported physical fight. Sullivan was placed in the Warren County jail on a probation detainer.

DUI. City of Warren police reported that on April 14, Chris McAmbley, 70, Warren, was charged with DUI: general impairment, DUI: .16 percent or higher and driving on the right side of roadway after police received a phone call regarding an intoxicated male that left a specified location with a description of the vehicle he was driving. After locating the vehicle and observing a traffic violation, the vehicle was stopped and the driver was found to be under the influence of an alcoholic beverage.

DUI. City of Warren police reported that on April 21, Rodney Gage, 23, Russell, was charged with DUI, DUI .16 percent or higher, driving on roadways laned for traffic and careless driving after officers responded to a one car accident on the Glade bridge. Gage’s vehicle struck the north side of the bridge then traveled across the bridge, striking the other side before coming to rest in the center of the bridge.

Harassment. City of Warren police reported that on April 9, Matthew Dunn, 20, Youngsville, was cited for harassment after police were dispatched to a residence in the city for the report of a fight.

Conewango Twp.

Hit and Run. According to Conewango Township Police, on April 20 between 11 and 11:30 a.m., a red Ford F150 belonging to Kevin Bell was parked in the Dollar Tree parking lot at Warren Commons and the rear passenger’s door was damaged. Anyone with information is asked to contact the township police.

Youngsville

DUI. Youngsville Borough Police said they took Yvonne Ames, 34, Youngsville, into custody on April 13 at approximately 3 p.m. near Ford Street for DUI. Ames allegedly struck two buildings with her SUV before stopping at Tops Market. Police said she also fell and received facial injuries before they arrived. Ames was charged with two counts of DUI at the highest rate, reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident, open container and public drunkenness.

Conewango Twp.

Theft. Conewango Township Police were dispatched at approximately 7:15 p.m. on April 22 to Wal-Mart for a retail theft complaint. Police said prior to their arriving, a suspect fled into the woods behind Warren Commons. George Heatherdale, 46, was found in the wood after a brief search. He was wanted by Pennsylvania State Parole and was lodged in the Warren County Jail. Police said Heatherdale will answer to a summary retail theft at District Justice Laura Bauer’s office for stealing merchandise valued at $59.98. Warren-based state police assisted at the scene.

Mead Twp.

Burglary. Warren-based state police reported that between 10:30 p.m. on April 22 and 10:30 a.m. on April 23 at Dairy Delight, someone forcibly gained entry into the business by prying a partially secured side door. Police said the intruder ransacked the office area and stole approximately $550 in quarters and $500 in $20 bills, and then exited the business through the rear door. Pine Grove Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that a crash occurred at 10:48 a.m. on April 23 on Route 62 at the intersection with Old State Line Road. According to police, a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Blaine Hankins, 46, Jamestown, N.Y., was traveling south on Route 62. As he was slowing down for a vehicle turning onto Old State Line Road a 2004 Chrysler, driven by Nicole Reges, 30, DeYoung, struck the rear of Hankins’ vehicle. Police said his vehicle received minor damage and Reges’ vehicle was towed from the scene. Neither driver was injured, and both refused medical treatment. Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Police said Reges was charged with following too closely.

Sugar Grove Boro

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. on April 21, at the Kwik-Fill parking lot, Shelby James Tyler, 21, Warren, allegedly subjected a known 17-year-old female, Warren, to physical contact by forcibly pushing her into a vehicle, causing injury to her right arm. Police said Tyler will answer to the charge of harassment in district court at a later date.

Theft. Kyle Kitchel, 20, Warren, and Haven Arnold, 19, Sheffield, reported to Warren-based state police that between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m. on April 20 on Cobham Park Road they were the victims of a theft by deception. Police said a known male suspect was identified. The investigation continues.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Assault/harassment. Warren-based state police reported that at 12:15 a.m. on April 19, on Stillson Hill Road, Kevin VanHouten, 45, Pittsfield, and Jacob Matteson, 29, Youngsville, were involved in a physical altercation with a known male, 45, Pittsfield, and a second known male, 29, Pittsfield. Police said Rebecca Lynn Matteson, 29, Youngsville, allegedly subjected a known female, 22, Warren, to physical contact during the dispute. Police said all of the accused face charges of simple assault and harassment, pending the outcome of the investigation.

Chautauqua Co.,

N.Y.

Crash. The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office reported that an accident occurred at 9:50 p.m. Sunday when a vehicle that was traveling north on Route 426 in Mina lost control, entered a ditch and struck a utility pole. The driver of the vehicle, Darcy J. Smith, Youngsville, was taken to UPMC Hamot in Erie for treatment. Police said her passenger, Charles W. Insinger, Youngsville, was flown to UPMC Hamot and remains hospitalized in serious condition. According to police, the accident is under investigation.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between 11 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. Sunday an unknown vehicle purposely ran over street signs in several locations. They are: Route 59 and Keenan Street, Mead Township; Cobham Park Road and Scandia Road, Glade Township; Roper Hollow and Scandia Road, Roper Hollow and Cornplanter Road, Elk Township; Akeley Road and Cable Hollow Road, Liberty Street, and several along Conewango Street, Pine Grove Township. Conewango Twp.

DUI. Warren-based state police reported that at 8:59 p.m. Saturday on Rt. 6, near Scientific Dr., Pamela Seybert, 50, Warren, was observed speeding. Police said they stopped Seybert’s vehicle and it was discovered that she exhibited numerous signs of alcohol intoxication and was asked to submit to SFST testing, which she failed to successfully complete. Police said she was taken into custody for DUI and processed at the state police barracks. Charges are pending through District Justice Laura Bauer’s office.

Brokenstraw Twp.

Theft.. Warren-based state police charged Cody Johnson, Pittsfield, on three charges of theft by unlawful taking. The incident was originally reported on Feb. 29, 2012 by Lindell and Maney Oil and occurred between Feb. 19, 2012 and Feb. 29, 2012. The investigation continues into others possibly involved in the theft. Further court action is pending.

Cherry Grove

Crash. Warren-based state police responded to a one vehicle accident on April 16 at 12:30 a.m. on Austin Hill Road west of Timber Lane. Scott C. Havelka, West Mifflin, Pa., was driving a 2004 GMC Sierra west on Austin Hill Road where he failed to negotiate a left hand turn curve and traveled and traveled off the north side of the road striking a utility. The vehicle left the scene and was found later disabled and abandoned at the intersection of Hearts Content Road and SR 337. Police said that Havelka will be cited for several traffic violations including driving at safe speeds.

Conewango Twp.

Theft. Pa. State Constables arrested Lehualani L. Rounds, Warren, on April 19 at 2:00 p.m. in Warren, on an arrest warrant for theft by unlawful taking. She was taken before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson and released on an unsecured $50,000 bond.

Resisting arrest. At 9:00 a.m. on April 17, Pa. State Constables arrested Edward Nolte in Spring Creek on a bench warrant for resisting arrest, interfering with an officer, and false id. He was taken before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson and released pending further court action.

Disorderly conduct. Bryan Irwin, Warren, was arrested by Pa. State Constables on April 18 at 10:00 a.m. in Conewango Twp. on charges of disorderly conduct. He was taken before District Magistrate Glenn Carlson and released pending further court action.

Pine Grove Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police reported that on April 17 two unknown individuals took a crossbow off the front porch of a house located on Fox Hill Road. The individuals were said to be driving a white, older model, four-door sedan with New York license plates. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Pleasant Twp.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police report between the dates of March 5 and April 13, someone put maple syrup in the gas tank of a 1998 Ford Explorer belonging to Marc Lewis, of Warren, causing $700 in damag

Clarendon

Investigation. Warren-based state police reported that a known white male alleged that he was a victim of numerous incidents of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse between 1993 and 2001. The investigation remains open.

Youngsville

DUI. Youngsville police reported that Yvonne Ames, 34, Youngsville, was arrested for DUI and possession of a weapon on school property on Tuesday, April 9 at approximately 1 p.m. at Youngsville Elementary Middle School. Police were called to the school for a report of an intoxicated female on school property. While in the school, Ames was allegedly found to be in possession of a bottle of liquor, a knife and small cutting blades. Charges, including several summary offenses, are being filed with District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

Conewango Twp.

Retail theft. Police were dispatched on April 3 to Wal-Mart for a retail theft complaint. Nicholas Buziak, 21, Jamestown, NY, fled from loss prevention after attempting to steal an Xbox controller valued at $42.36. A traffic stop was conducted and Buziak was subsequently taken into custody for retail theft and possession of drug paraphernalia. Buziak was arraigned before District Magistrate Carlson and placed in the Warren County Jail on $15,000 bail. Heather Brown, 23, Jamestown, NY, was a passenger in Buziak’s vehicle and was in possession of separate drug paraphernalia. She was arraigned before District Magistrate Carlson and placed in the Warren County Jail on $15,000 bail.

Retail theft. Police were dispatched on April 8 to Wal-Mart for a retail theft complaint. Adam McCoy, 18, Warren, was confronted by loss prevention after removing computer hardware valued at $115.54 from the packaging and concealing it on his person. A non-traffic citation has been filed with District Justice Bauer’s office.

Domestic dispute. Police were dispatched on April 13 to 86 Allegheny Drive for a report of a domestic dispute. Kenneth Brady, 49, same address, subjected a known male to physical contact while at 56 Allegheny Dr. Non-traffic citations for harassment and disorderly conduct have been filed at District Justice Bauer’s office.

Accident. Police were dispatched on April 14 to Logan Rd. for a report of a vehicle in the ditch. Upon arrival, officers made contact with Thomas Allison, 38, Irvine. Allison was found to be driving under the influence. Charges have been filed with District Justice Bauer’s office. Allison’s vehicle was towed from the scene.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Theft of motor vehicle. Warren-based state police reported that between 8 p.m. on April 9 and 3:30 p.m. on April 11, at a private residence on Jackson Run Rd., unknown individual/s removed a 2000 Polaris Sportsman 335 from Bryan Clark’s driveway. The ATV is described as being olive, drab in color, and it has a Polaris plow and Warn winch on it, and there is a crack on the front passenger side fender. Burglary/Theft. Warren-based state police reported that between 9 p.m. on April 14 and 11:40 a.m. on April 15, at Rolling Express on Route 62 in North Warren, an unknown suspect took a large rock and smashed out the rear window at the Rolling Express shop, which was positioned in front of the beverage cooler. The suspect then proceeded to remove various types of alcoholic beverages, varying in size and brand. If anyone has information regarding this incident, contact PSP Warren or Warren County Crime Stoppers. Investigation is pending.

Freehold Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that at 1:45 a.m. on April 15 a crash occurred when Lyle M. Ladd, 82, Corry, driving a 2005 Chrysler Town & Country, was traveling east on RT6 and lost control of his vehicle, traveling off the south berm and struck a guiderail. There was no injury. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Forgery. Warren-based state police reported that between Dec. 19 and Dec. 28 on Hazeltine Run Rd., a known 50-year-old male, Sugar Grove, cashed a two-party check and allegedly forged the other party’s name. The investigation continues.

Harassment/Domestic. Warren-based state police reported that at 6 p.m. on April 15 on Jackson Run Rd., a suspect struck a known female, 62, Sugar Grove. The victim declined prosecution.

DUI. Warren-based state police arrested John Misulich of Tiona on April 14 at 2:28 a.m. after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Rt. 6 near 4 Mile Rd. Charges were filed with the district magistrate after he was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Eldred Twp.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police are investigating an incident that occurred between 3 p.m. April 13 and 9 a.m. April 14 in a hay field on Fiddler’s Green Rd. near Sanford Rd. According to police, an unknown individual(s) caused approximately $225 damage to the victim’s hay field by doing doughnuts in their unknown type of vehicle (presumed to be a small pick-up truck). Disorderly Conduct. Warren-based state police reported that at 1 p.m. on April 12, in the parking lot of Value Home Center, Benjamin W. Hittie, 39, was hollering obscenities in a public place and witnesses in the area were concerned.

Spring Creek Twp.

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between 12 p.m. on Oct. 27 and 9:15 a.m. on April 12, an incident occurred when an unknown person caused approximately $130 in damage to a camp owned by a known male, 74, Cannonsburg, by throwing numerous rocks at the vinyl siding and screen windows. Sugar Grove

Crash-DUI. Warren-based state police reported that at 10:30 a.m. on April 12, in the area of 113 Race St., a two-vehicle crash occurred involving David K. Brown, 59, Russell and Lucas Jacob Baines Wolfgang, 24, Jamestown, N.Y. Brown was traveling east on Race St., when Wolfgang turned out of a driveway, attempting to turn west onto Race St., directly into the path of Brown. Brown impacted Wolfgang in the driver side door, trapping Wolfgang inside the vehicle. Wolfgang was freed from the vehicle and transported to WCA in Jamestown for injuries received in the crash. Brown was uninjured. Upon further investigation, it was suspected that Wolfgang was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Police said charges are against Wolfgang, pending the results of a blood alcohol test. Charges will be filed at Magistrate District Justice Bauer’s office.

Harassment/Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police responded to Youngsville High School on April 11 at 7:48 a.m. after receiving reports of a physical altercation between a 15 year-old female and a 62 year-old male aide and a 43 year-old Assistant Principal. According to police, the accused pushed and punched the victims and then threw a chair into a wall causing minor damage. The accused was charged with two counts of Harassment and one count Criminal Mischief.

Theft. Warren-based state police said that between July 26, 2012 and Jan. 11, 2013, Paula Braswell, 35, Bear Lake, used Blair Corp.’s Fedex account to mail numerous personal packages totaling more than $750. Police said Braswell did not pay for the personal shipments and was charged with theft by unlawful taking.

Glade Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police said that on April 1 someone stole a “Work Ahead” sign from the side of the roadway on Hemlock Road. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Limestone Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police report an accident occurred on April 10 at 3:30 p.m. on Rt. 62 north of Red House Hill Road. According to police, Mark Debaise, 57, East Hickory, lost control of his vehicle and spun counter-clockwise striking a guide rail with the rear of his vehicle. The vehicle continued to spin and struck a utility pole with the front of the vehicle shearing it off. The vehicle then struck a concrete barrier and continued approximately 50 feet down a ravine before coming to rest facing northwest. Police said Debaise, who sustained minor injuries, was cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic.

Sugar Grove Twp.

Theft. Warren-based state police report that sometime between 8 p.m. on April 9 and 3:30 p.m. April 11 someone removed a 2000 Polaris Sportsman 335 from the victim’s driveway. The ATV is described as olive drab in color with a Polaris plow and Warn winch on it. There is a crack on the front passenger side fender. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Crime Stoppers.

Burglary/theft. Warren-based state police reported that between 2:30 and 3:30 p.m. on Dec. 19, 2012, Stanley Allen Madigan, 50, Clarendon, and Richard Timothy Madigan, 22, Clarendon, removed scrap metal and other metal items from in and around a camp belonging to Doris Lindell, Warren, and took it to New York State to a metal recycling plant. Police said the two have been charged with burglary, criminal trespass, criminal conspiracy, theft, and criminal mischief. They were arraigned before District Justice Laura Bauer and remanded to the Warren County Jail after failing to post $20,000 bond each.

Crash. Warren City Police reported that on March 22, Ashley Mighells, 18, Warren, was cited for accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle after backing into another vehicle in a parking lot and leaving the scene of the accident. Police said witnesses provided an accurate description of the suspect vehicle, which enabled them to find and subsequently charge Mighells.

Bad checks. Warren City Police reported that on March 22, Wilma Battko, 69, Warren, was cited for bad checks after she issued a check for the amount of $275.48 to a local business and it was returned non-sufficient funds.

Crash. Warren City Police reported that on March 26, Tyler McCullough, 18, Warren, was cited for careless driving after a two-car accident at the intersection of Conewango Avenue and Pioneer Street. Police said McCullough failed to stop for the vehicle in front of him, causing him to hit that vehicle. Police said there was heavy damage to his vehicle and moderate damage to the second vehicle.

Crash. Warren City Police reported that on March 28, Steven Fiscus, 47, Warren, was cited for accidents involving damage to an unattended vehicle or property and careless driving after an accident was reported at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and Elm Street where he left the roadway and struck a tree and a street sign.

Crash. Warren City Police reported that on March 27, Dean Hansen, 50, Russell, was cited for careless driving following a one-vehicle accident at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and Market Street. Police said Hansen failed to turn at the intersection, drove through the yard and WACOPSE parking lot and finally struck a tree.

Harassment. Warren City Police reported that on March 30, Nathan Nulph, 27, Warren, was charged with two counts of harassment and a count of disorderly conduct after he punched the victim twice in the face causing visible injury. He was placed in the Warren County jail on a probation retainer.

DUI. Warren City Police reported that on April 3, Timothy Hause, 44, Warren, was charged with DUI and DUI .16 or higher after officers responded to a man slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle with the engine running. Police said officers were able to wake him and found him to be intoxicated.

Harassment. Warren City Police reported that on March 26, Steven Swick, 40, Warren, was cited for harassment after officers responded to a domestic dispute at his residence where he reportedly held the arms of the victim, causing bruises.

Harassment. Warren City Police reported that on March 30, Robert Clever, 31, Warren, was cited for harassment following a domestic dispute where he reportedly slammed the door of the residence on the arm of the victim.

Disorderly conduct. Warren City Police reported that on March 29, Waylon Henderson, 18, Tidioute, was cited for disorderly conduct, public drunkenness and underage drinking after he was reported to be pounding on the door of a residence and trying to get in a vehicle. Police said they found Henderson to be highly intoxicated and under the belief that he was in Tidioute.

Theft. Warren-based state police are investigating a theft from Blair Industries, 100 Dillion Dr., Irvine, on April 5 at 2 a.m. According to police, a known employee was caught stealing sweat pants.

Burglary. Mary Anderson, Sugar Grove, reported to Warren-based state police that someone entered a building on her property on Catline Hill Road sometime between March 7 and April 6 and took a cast wood stove, tripod-mounted work lights and a four-foot aluminum level. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police or Warren County Crime Stoppers.

Clarendon

Criminal Mischief. Warren-based state police report that between 12:01 a.m. on March 27 to midnight on April 6, at N. Main Street, an unknown person scratched lines and words into the sides of a 1999 Chevrolet S10 and 1997 Chevrolet Astro, belonging to a known male, 67, Clarendon. Police said damage is estimated at $1,000. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Harassment. Warren-based state police responded to Eisenhower High School at 11:00 a.m. on April 4. A 15 year-old male juvenile is accused of punching a 14 year-old male juvenile in the shoulder/rib cage twice during school hours. Charges were filed against the accused in District Magistrate Laura Bauer’s office.

Disorderly Conduct. Warren-based state police responded to Eisenhower High School at 3:10 p.m. on March 27 after a17 year-old male juvenile became involved in a physical altercation with another student in the parking lot. The accused will answer to the charge of disorderly conduct before District Magistrate Laura Bauer.

Youngsville

Theft. Youngsville Police were called to St. Luke’s Parish on N. Main St. last week to investigate a theft. Someone went into the church and stole cooper wire from the religious education classrooms. Police are asking anyone with information to call 563-7555 or Crime Stoppers.

Terroristic Threats. Youngsville Police are investigating reports of a male juvenile threatening to stab another male juvenile with a knife at the Second St. playground near Thatchers Lane on April 1 at about 1 p.m.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that at 8:19 a.m. on April 2, on SR957 near Pine Valley Rd., a crash occurred when William R. (Mio), 40, Corry, driving a Ford E-250 ambulance, was traveling east on SR957 and ascended a hill in the snow-covered roadway, which caused the rear end of his vehicle to spin out of control. He then traveled off the roadway, hit a dirt embankment and came to rest on its side. There was a passenger in the vehicle, Michael Wilson Norman, 57, Corry. Both were wearing seatbelts. Minor injuries were reported. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Farmington Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that a crash occurred at 8:17 a.m. on April 2, on Jackson Run Rd., 2,772 feet east of an unnamed street, when Kristen L. Danielson, 37, Sugar Grove, driving a 2008 Ford Taurus X, was traveling eastbound on SR69 on snow covered roads. The vehicle lost control and spun clockwise, where it then left the roadway and came to a final rest on its roof in the ditch off the south edge of the roadway, facing west. Danielson was not injured. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Danielson was not cited due to the roadway conditions.

Freehold Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that at 7:54 a.m. on April 2, on SR957 east of Lottsville, when Jenna Rae Morton, 21, Jamestown, NY, driving a 1992 Pontiac Grand Am, was traveling west on SR957, and a 2011 International Dura Star, driven by David William Bialo, 40, Oil City, was disabled on a hill in the roadway; his vehicle was partially blocking the east/west lanes of SR957. Morton descended a hill in the snow-covered roadway and failed to stop. She then swerved to avoid Bialo, but was unsuccessful. Morton then traveled off the roadway and hit a dirt embankment. After initial impact, she slid into Morton’s vehicle. Morton’s vehicle had moderate passenger side damage, while Bialo’s vehicle had minor front end damage and was operational. Morton’s vehicle was towed from the scene.

Pittsfield Twp.

Crash. Warren-based state police reported that a crash occurred at 8:30 a.m. on April 2, on PA27, 1,509 feet west of an unnamed street, when Shereen R. Silvis, 46, Pittsfield, driving a 2008 Cadillac CTS, was driving westbound on SR27. Upon cresting a hill, she went off the south side of the roadway and impacted a utility pole head on. The crash caused major damage to her vehicle and also caused damage to the utility pole. Silvis left the scene, but was found at her residence a short time later. She was cited for driving on roadways laned. Traffic charges are pending.

Youngsville

Harassment. Warren-based state police reported that on March 31 between 12:45 to 1 a.m., at 58 Second St., Terri Lee Rosequist, Youngsville, subjected a known female to physical contact, scratching her during an argument. Rosequist was cited for harassment. The charge was filed through District Justice Cynthia Lindemuth’s office.

DUI arrest. Warren-based state police reported that on March 29 at 10 p.m. Stephen M. Miller, 63, Farrell, Pa., was driving a Ford Ranger pickup truck that was stopped on SR 337 after troopers observed Miller committing several traffic violations. Miller was subequently arrested for DUI.

Pittsfield Twp.

Public drunkenness. Warren-based state police reported that Aaron Daniel Merritt, 29, Tidioute, was cited for public drunkenness on March 30 at 3 a.m. after he was found staggering on Davey Hill Road following a report of a drunk male knocking on a resident’s door asking for a ride.

Pleasant Twp.

Public drunkenness. Warren-based state police were called to a Pleasant Drive residence on March 31 at 2:45 a.m. According to police, Tyler Engle, 21, Youngsville, allegedlyknocked on a resident’s door while intoxicated. Charges were filed through District Justice?Glenn Carlson’s office.

Criminal mischief. Warren-based state police reported that between March 30 at 10 p.m. and March 31 at 4 p.m. someone allegedly used an object to break a window in a 2004 Kia Optima on Rt. 6 owned by Jon McKown, Irvine. Damage is estimated at $200. Anyone with information is asked to contact the state police.

Youngsville

Harassment. On Thursday, March 28, at approximately 5:45 p.m., Youngsville Police were called to 15 E. Main St. for an alleged fight in progress. Two females, Katera Murphy, Warren, and Elizabeth Klark, Youngsville, had a verbal disagreement over money that turned physical. Charges are pending.

DUI. Youngsville police reported that Crystal Muczynski, 49, Youngsville, was stopped by police on March 23 at approximately 7:30 p.m. for alleged reckless and impaired driving. Police were called by other motorists that observed her driving off the roadway several times. She was taken into custody by police for driving while under the influence of a controlled substance.
