Outdoor club to ride/hike

The Allegheny Outdoor Club will ride bikes or hike from Marienville towards Leeper on Sunday, June 2. The group will meet at the train station in Marienville at 2 p.m.

Road maintenance

PennDOT has announced the following maintenance work for Warren County roadways this week: Crack sealing on Rt. 27 in Pittsfield and Deerfield townships and US 6 in Brokenstraw Twp.; Ditch cleaning on Busti Rd. and Catlin Hill Rd. in Sugar Grove Twp. and Valentine Run Rd. in Pine Grove and Farmington townships and spray patching on Rt. 958 in Freehold Twp., US 6 in Pittsfield Twp., Old Route 62 in Pine Grove Twp., Cole Hill Rd. in Pine Grove Twp., Scandia Rd. in Elk Twp., Grassy Flats Rd. in Conewango Twp., Mohawk Ave. in Pleasant Twp. and Rt. 948 in Sheffield Twp.

Bridge results

Lynn Way and Richard Woodruff were first with Lana Creal and Chick Bello in bridge play Monday at the YMCA last week. Bill Massa was first on Tuesday at the Allegheny Community Center with Marge Polito in second. Massa was also first on Thursday at the Woman’s Club with Alice Kellogg in second.

Class of 1964 meeting

The Warren Area High School Class of 1964 reunion meeting will be held Friday at noon at the Conewango Club.
