For the past six years, Praise Fellowship has hosted an event for the young girls in the congregation known as “Daughters of the King.”
A time of praise, fellowship and celebration of being one of God’s beloved daughters, this event reminds girls who they are in Christ. Each year, a special speaker shares a message and mothers, grandmothers, aunts and friends join to enjoy the day.
An outreach project that benefits a local organization is picked each year. This year, with the event having the theme of “The Armor of God,” the planning committee found it to be appropriate with the “shoes of peace” to collect shoes for the House of Hope’s ongoing fundraiser where slightly used shoes are collected, weighed and funds received year round. The group collected over a dozen containers of shoes to donate.
