The WIC program of Warren County works to safeguard the health of women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating, and referrals to health care. Hooktown Holidays board members Ethel DelBalso (left) and Betty Jo Pearson (right) present a donation of $1,500 to WIC Manager, Shannon Sitler (center). The funds were given in order to provide for WIC clients who are in need of help in emergency situations. Hooktown Holidays mission is to provide nutritious food, warm clothing, and other necessities of life to children, families and other individuals in need in our community.
