Plan ahead at holiday

Dear Editor: Each year, Memorial Day serves as a reminder of the freedom we have and the bravery and sacrifice of those that have fought to preserve it. Dear Editor, John Q. Public has been shoved to the curb again. PNC is closing its branch in Youngsville. We can all do our banking now at the east side location. We have the ability to go online to do our banking. I’m sure my 96-year-old mother will be jumping for joy. Our family has been banking in Youngsville for many years through the different entities. An unfair game

Dear Editor, I, like many others, enjoy playing games. They can be physical, educational, and fun. However, what Washington has produced has skewed the prospects of possibly winning their “games.” The American people are the losers at the outset, and the socialist Dems are the predetermined winners; there’s nothing enjoyable about playing what they’ve created. Forced choices

Dear Editor, Are we free to choose? I’m bothered by wording on the ballot in recent primary voting. One is instructed to vote for “one female and one male.” These instructions are biased to perhaps force a vote away from one’s choice. Voting is supposed to be free choice. What if one wanted to vote for two females or two males? Why does a red warning pop up that says “under voted” when one decides not to let the ballot steer their vote? Free choice at the poll is the basis of our representative Republic. There is no room for boldly or subtlety forcing a choice on the voter ...

Dear Editor, How long is this country going to wait to plug in the electric chair? The no-death penalty is a joke! This country is getting sicker every day. All killers should get the chair!
