Adding safeguards
Readers Speak
Dear Editor,
My father owned a gun shop. When I was 7 years old, he taught me how to shoot starting with the most difficult action, the pump, then the bolt and finally the lever action.
Today, I own a shotgun, a rifle and a hundgun, which I have a permit to carry.
In addition to what is currently agreed upon by both political parties, I would suggest raising the age of purchase.
Require more than three references and increase the time to pick up the approved purchase to 25 days.
Any rebuttals?
