Watson Township to hold clean-up day Oct. 1 WATSON — Watson Township will hold a fall clean-up day for Watson Township residents and camp owners on Saturday Oct. 1, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Watson Community Building. No hazardous material, propane tanks, batteries, solvents or wood will be accepted. No televisions will be accepted, though other electronics will be accepted. The fee is $10 per vehicle load. Spaghetti fundraiser is today First Lutheran Church is hosting a drive-through spaghetti fundraiser for Free Books for Kids Town today starting at 4:30 p.m. Money raised at the event will enable free books to expand the Books for Babies-plus program at Warren General, which provides free books for all newborns and their siblings and to expand the free book programs in local public schools. Class to meet in Pittsfield The Warren Area High School Class of 1957 will meet at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17, at Scotties Pittsfield Inn, Pittsfield. The sessions will be offered in both Monday morning (10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.) and Monday evening sessions (6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.).
