Church to host fall sale
Emanuel United Church of Christ will host a fall sale at 1710 Penna Ave. East, Warren, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 8. Plants and other items will be available. There will be a special bag deal from noon-2 p.m. on Saturday.
Coffeehouse, open mic night is Thursday
Russell United Methodist Church will host a coffeehouse and open mic night from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Ministry Center. Musicians are encouraged to bring their instruments and sign up to sing or play for the crowd. Those not interested in performing are encouraged to come out, have a cup of coffee, and enjoy the music.
