Women’s Expo held

The Butch Hulings Memorial Scholarship held its first annual Women’s Expo on Oct. 15. BHMS provides two scholarships to Warren or Forest County graduating students who are pursuing education in a trade/technical school. The non-profit 501(c)(3) was created in memory of George “Butch” Hulings of Tidioute and has been providing scholarships since 2019. This year’s expo provided general health checks, a free self-defense course, vendors, games, an auction, and raffles. Next year’s Women’s Expo will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 4 p.m. to 8.pm. Interested vendors can email BHMS2019@yahoo.com and this email can be used to request additional information about the scholarship or the expo. The scholarship application is available on the group’s Facebook page and can be requested via email.
