The Warrin’ Wrecking Dolls is a sports organization for competitive roller derby, the region’s own flat-track roller derby team. It’s full of women, many of whom are moms who thought they couldn’t find the time, couldn’t skate, felt too old or too nervous. It’s where empowerment meets community by stepping out or “rolling” out to do difficult things that test limits and bring a sense of pride through strength.
