WARREN -- The Warren Dragons ended their 2026 season Friday evening, earning a dominant 55-28 win over visiting Bradford.
The Dragons elected to receive the ball in an effort to have a repeat statement drive from last week's win against Eisenhower. To their dismay, an Aiden Eger fumble on the first play led to a Bradford touchdown by Tommy Langdon to take a 7-0 lead with 9:32 to go in the quarter.
The Dragons started their second drive at their own 26-yard line. They would possess the ball for almost six and a half minutes before sophomore quarterback Parker Kiser ran it in for a 1-yard score. Charlie Blum was successful on the extra point to tie the game at 7-7 with 3:03 remaining in the quarter.
The Owls would open the second quarter and score again via a 2-yard Langdon touchdown for his second score of the night. Warren junior Ayden Corbett fielded the kickoff and had a nice return that set the Dragons up at their own 45-yard line. An electric play came a few plays later as Parker Kiser ran a quarterback keeper 39 yards up the field for his second touchdown of the evening. Blum once again converted the extra point to put the game at 14-14.
Bradford's third drive of the game was another successful one. That was until the Owls committed a crucial holding penalty followed by a Christopher Orth and Blum gang tackle for loss that gave the Owls a second-and-30. A Giovanni Larson sack on third-and-28 led to the first punt of the night, capping off a fantastic defensive stand. With Warren's energy and confidence mounting, they took full advantage.
Corbett was able to finish off the next Dragon drive, punching it in from 10 yards away for Warren's first lead of the game with just over two minutes remaining in the half. Blum made the extra point to put the home team up 21-14.
A failed fake punt attempt from Bradford set the Dragons up in great field position with 1:11 to go in the half. With 35 yards needed to score, Kiser found Grant May who faked out an Owl defender with a nice stutter step and score. A blocked extra point had the Dragons up 27-14.
The Dragons weren't done as Orth picked off Bradford quarterback Lucas Wallace at their own 22-yard line. Kiser took full advantage and ran right up the middle for his third rushing touchdown of the game. Kiser found May for the successful two-point conversion to extend the lead 35-14 before the end of the first half.
The Owls opened the second half with another Tommy Langdon touchdown. A successful extra point put Bradford within two scores at 35-21.
Warren would quickly respond with an impressive scoring drive. Kiser capped it off with his fourth rushing touchdown of the evening, extending the Warren lead 42-21 after a Blum extra point with 7:01 remaining in the third quarter.
Bradford once again scored via the efforts of Lucas Wallace, this time from 6 yards out. Down 14 points, the Owls earned a turnover on downs to end the third quarter. The Dragons defense reciprocated with a turnover on downs themselves to regain possession of the ball.
A series of successful runs set up an Aiden Eger 17-yard touchdown to extend the Warren lead 49-28 after another Blum extra point. With 3:23 remaining in the game, Eger found the end zone again, this time from 8 yards out, putting Warren up 55-28 for the final nail in the coffin.
Warren finished the 2026 season with a 4-6 record in Coach Jodi Baum's inaugural year as head coach of the Dragons.
