Warren’s girls volleyball team tuned up for the playoffs by winning the 12-team Maplewood Tournament on Saturday at Maplewood High School. The Dragons secured the top seed by finishing 9-1 in pool play with wins over Seagertown (28-26, 25-16), Fort LeBoeuf (25-14, 25-15), Cochranton (25-21, 25-23, and Cambridge Springs (25-16, 25-22), and earning a split with McDowell (25-19, 24-26). They received a bye to the quarterfinals of bracket play where they beat Corry (25-21), Meadville (25-23) and Saegertown (25-17) in the championship.
