‘Night of the Masters’ held at Conewango Club
Black belts from around the region gathered at the Conewango Club last Saturday for a historic and memorable evening. The event was organized to honor the legacy of Grandmasters Gerald Durant and Stephen Capela, and to celebrate the 10 Dan (the highest rank achievable in the art of karate) advancements of Master Mr. Gary Hicks in Goshin Justsu (unable to attend due to illness), Master Scott Mullins in Goshin Justsu and Master Rick Johnson in Shotokan. They were joined by special guest, Goshin Jutsu 10th Dan Master John Barton.
