The Warren track and field team continued its winning streak Thursday as the boys and girls both took care of business to dominant wins over the visiting Titusville Rockets.
The girls won by a 109-41 score and the boys 106-44.
Warren junior Max Spiegel kept improving as he set another career best, high jumping to a mark of 6 feet, 7 inches, only 2 inches off the Warren record, set by Seth Meyers in 1991.
Winning individual events for the girls were: Ava Wymer (100-meter hurdles), Ella Cull (1,600 meters), Riley Evan (800 meters), Emma Peterson (3,200 meters), Gracie Page (pole vault), Zoe Rodgers (discus), Lilly Newton (high jump, 400 meters), Lara Pearson (shot put, javelin) and Bella Campbell (300-meter hurdles).
Boys individual winners were: Adon Maier (110-meter hurdles, 300-meter hurdles), Kaiden Garris (100 meters), Grayson Collopy (1,600 meters), Chase Fetzeck (800 meters), Cole Fitzgerald (3,200 meters), Leyton Salvatore (pole vault), Max Spiegel (high jump, triple jump, long jump) and Aiden Eger (javelin).

Warren’s Adon Maier clears a hurdle on his way to first in the 300-meter hurdles.
“Today we did what we needed to do to win and save kids for the McDowell Invite tomorrow,” Warren head coach Kevin Dustin said. “The kids were given specific duties and had to compete in their event to secure the win and every kid stepped up. We were glad to see a real team effort and get everyone competing well. We are starting to see good improvement out of everyone at the right time.”
The Dragons look to continue their successes when they compete in the McDowell Invitational today.
