RUSSELL — Chick Bellow fired a 35 for low-gross honors; Paul Cathcart and Rich Allen tied for low net with a 32; and Fred Carder had the most points with 8.5 to highlight the results from the Cable Hollow Friday Senior Men’s League.

Al Ludwick, Bello and Dave Garey each had two birdies, while Bill Blair, Doyle Cribbs, Dave Gayton, Bob Yucha, Ross Cali, Jim Leaskey, Bill Hargenrader, Randy Jones and Dave Youngren had one apiece.

Bello also had the a league-high seven pars. Paul Cathcart is the top point-getter with 46.5.

Following are the team standings through Week 6: The Duffers, 158.5, Cable Hollow Golf, 148.5, Struthers Wells, 141; Schwab’s Copiers, 131.5 Jones Pest Control, 121; Game Time, 121; Maple Place Farms 113; Warren Tire, 112; and Pete’s Team, 107.5 in the Eastern Division.

The Western Division standings are Slick Brownie, 157, Mike’s Townline, 156.5; Community Resource, 149; Mountain Laurel FCU, 140; Horseshoe Inn, 122; Warren Archery, 115; Jones Chevrolet, 110.5; 4-Putts, 103.5; and Falconer/Frewsburg Crew, 86.5.

WARREN — Shane Flannery’s 37 was the top score on the front nine and Rob Ritchie’s 34 was the low score on the back nine during the Tuesday Night League at Jackson Valley Golf Club.

Chet Loomis shot a 39 for the top senior score on the front nine and Mark Silvis fired a 37 on the back nine.

Mike Bonavita’s 33 led the front nine and Gary Freeborough’s 33 led the back nine for net scoring. For the seniors, Marty Meneo’s 31 was the best on the front nine and Bob Barney’s 34 was the best on the back nine.

Tom Moyer was the high point total with 8.0.

Eagles Club won the first half of the season with 235.5 points followed by Mt. Laurel Federal Credit Union with 234. Team 5 had 233 points, KCS Energy had 231 and A&B Heating finished with 229.

WARREN — Jesse McMichael and Fred Utegg teamed up to shoot a 33 in the A1 Flight during the Monday Night League at Jackson Valley Golf Club.

Chet Loomis and Kevin Abbott led the A1 Flight net scores with a 34.

In the A2 Flight, John Aldrich and Ken Burford led with a scratch 36 while Bub Michaels and Vinnie Feeny had a net 37.

In the B1 Flight, Rusty Wallace and Kevin Ficus led with a scratch 34 while Mike Moyer Sr. and Patrick Henry had a net 37.

Jon Anthony and Jim Walter led the scratch scores in the B2 Flight with a 39 while Jon Munksgard and John Weber had a net 41.

RUSSELL — Todd Sedon and Pat Hultquist both shot 41s to lead the Monday Senior League at Blueberry Hill Golf Course.

Jamie Mohney’s 33 led the net scores.

Ralph-E’s Pub, made up of Larry Brown, Randy Christensen, Rich Zydonik and Clifford Jenkins won the first half with 30 points.

Jeff Irwan had an eagle while Hultquist, Bill Petransky and Al Schumann each fired a birdie.

RUSSELL — Sharon Birtcil and Barb Hill shot a 44 to lead the A Flight during Ladies League play at Blueberry Hill Golf Course on June 15.

Margie Cerra and Sally Moldovan had the second lowest gross total with a 47.

Hill led the net scores with a 35 while Birtcil had a 36. Hill also won the tournament — throw out the worst three holes — with a 25 and Birtcil had a 27.

In the B Flight, Sandy Wilks led with a 47 and Debbie Borst had a 48. Wilks led the net scores with a 32 while Borst and Danell Sowers shot matching 33s. Wilks had a 28 to lead the tournament while Borst, Mary Mackey and Susan Wilson all had 29s.

In the C Flight, Patti Larson had a 48 and Deb Bialas had a 51. Larson also had the low net with a 30 while Karen Beardsley and Bialas had matching 34s. Larson led the tournament with a 29 while Beardsley, Bialas, Jill Dart, Jill Morley and Diedra Swanson had 30s.

Karen Sobkowski’s 52 led the D Flight followed by Linda Bajorek and Sue Shields with 53s. Bajorek, Terry Borger and Sobkowski had net 33s followed by Shields with a 34. Borger and Amy Morrison led the tournament with 30s followed by Bajorek and Shields with 31s.

In the E Flight, Jennie Caldwell and Sue Papalia shot matching 54s followed by Young Hui Waite’s 55. Papalia and Hui Waite had low net with 29s while Caldwell registered a 30. Caldwell won the tournament with a 31 while Besty Foley and Hui Waite had 32s.

Linda Dies and Crystal Howe led the F Flight with 64s while Jessica Rex, Erin Richardson and Cindy Schuman had 65s. Dies, Howe, Rex and Lynne Rulander had net 32s while Richardson, Schuman and Lynne Rulander had 34s. Rex won the tournament with a 34 and Dies had a 35.

Caldwell was closest to the pond on No. 2.

On June 22, Birtcil and Hill led the A Flight with 48s while Cerra and Moldovan had net 51s. Birtcil had a 26 to win the tournament, which was holes that start with “T” and “F”. Cerra and Hill had 30s.

In the B Flight, Jody Christensen led with a 52 and Borst was second with a 54. Christensen had the low net with a 37 while Borst, Jen Dilks and Mackey had 39s. Christensen led the tournament with a 30 while Borst and Dilks had 31s.

In the C Flight, Sobkowski led with a 54 and Dart had a 55. Sobkowski also had the low net with a 37 and Dart had a 38. The tournament winner was Sobkowski with a 31 while Gail Kirsch and Morley had 32s.

Shannon Stevenson led the D Flight with a 54 and Deb Sumner had a 55. Tricia Kubas and Sumner fired net 34s while Stevenson had a 35. Kubas, Morrison, Shields and Sumner tied for the tournament lead with 34s while Janis Bennett, Becky Olofson and Stevenson had 35s.

Papalia led the E Flight with a 55 and Cindy Lodestro had a 59. Papalia also led the net scores with a 30 while Lodestro had a 33. The tournament winner was Papalia with a 31 while Lodestro, Deb Olson and Melissa Schrader each had 37s.

The F Flight was led by Cheryl Reagle’s 62 and Beth Lundberg’s 66. Reagle fired the low net with a 31 and Lundberg had a 35. Reagle had a 39 to lead the tournament while Dot Bero, Howe and Jan Moore had 41s.

Darcy Marek was closest to the pond on No. 12.

WARREN — Hallie Dubia’s 44 led Ladies Day at Conewango Valley Country Club.

Mary Sue Golen had the low net with a 35 while Andrea Sedon, Janeal Hedman and Michelle Lauffenburger each had 37s.

Marlene Sandberg was closest to the pin on her fourth shot at No. 9 while Jan Brown won the special event — it takes two to tango — with a 15.

WARREN — Kellie McClement shot a scratch 45, Julie Moyer had a net 34 and McClement hit 15 putts to lead the A Flight on the front nine during Ladies League play at Jackson Valley Golf Course last week.

In the B Flight, Leslie Melquist and Heather Schultz shot matching scratch 49s while Debbie Bialas and Betsy Foley had matching net 30s. Schultz hit the fewest putts with 15.

The C Flight was led by Kathleen Creek’s 55 while Lissy Johnson hit a net 31. Darielle Hoden hit 17 putts.

Beth Lundberg’s 60 led the D Flight and Cindy Schumann hit the fewest putts with 15. Paula Britt had the lowest net score.
